Evaluation
Here is my evaluation of the whole level 3 project for the film festival.
We first started the project by being separated at random into two groups to re-create a scene from Brooklyn nine-nine which was the That way song. I didn't really enjoy this small activity as I didn't really get a proper role and was just picked for a role at the last second with the whole shooting being disorganised with me standing for an hour and a half like a lemon.
After that we learnt about ambience and what is the importance of it in Film and TV, the practical task for this was to go to either three or four locations within the college and record the ambience of these areas, edit them in Adobe Audition and upload them onto our webnode with images and descriptions of the locations which was a lot more engaging than the last activity in my opinion.
Our third activity within this project was to create a 'Fake' ambience using sounds and editing them in Adobe Audition, I decided to go for an ambience sound that sounded like it was outside with the sound of a car driving round a roundabout, this project was also enjoyable to do and can be found on the 'research & practical' work tab.
Another task we were given by our other teacher was to do conventions on both visuals and audio of Movie/TV show scenes of our choosing, I currently have two visual conventions and one audio convention that can be found on the conventions tab in the research dropdown menu or by a button hyperlink in the research page.
